Opteron 6168 is a server/workstation processor from AMD released on 29 March 2010, and it is in end-of-life production status now. It belongs to Opteron family and has a Magny-Cours architecture. This processor is built on AMD Socket G34, and uses Gen 2 PCI express connection. 45 nm process is used in production.
Processor has 12 cores and 12 threads, with the base frequency of 1900 MHz. It has DDR3 memory support. As for the cache, it supports L1 768K (shared), L2 6MB (per core) and L3 12MB.
