EPYC 7551 is a server/workstation processor from AMD released on 29 June 2017, and it is in active production status now. It belongs to EPYC family and has a Naples architecture. This processor is built on AMD Socket SP3, and uses Gen 3 PCI express connection. 14 nm process is used in production.
Processor has 32 cores and 64 threads, with the base frequency of 2000 MHz. It has DDR4-2666 MHz Eight-channel memory support. As for the cache, it supports L1 96K (per core), L2 512K (per core) and L3 64MB (shared).
